Make Money With Cashcrate!
Updated - May 2010. Read the FULL REVIEW here including the details on the HIDDEN COSTS of the Web Profit Club - a new "make money online" kit being advertised online.
"Make $17.00 an hour!" the ad screams. Michelle Richardson tells US Dream Jobs that she makes $5000-7000.00 a month with the new Web Profit Club. How? By posting links online that's how! Wow!
Maybe you have seen the same ad on World3News.com? You know the one that says "They are constantly recruiting people to post links, you should try it." There are over 350 positions available just for [your home town]"? And that Web Profit Club is BBB A+ rated?
It's a scam. Sure, Web Profit Club will send you some sort of kit, but there is no way to make money online which makes it easy to earn $17.00 an hour part time with your computer. And then there are the hidden fees. Didn't see those did you? Most of all, nobody pays anyone to simply "post links".
US Dream Jobs is a fake news site which is the popular way to dupe unsuspecting buyers into falling for an online offer. Michelle Richardson is a fake person and the website uses a software trick to make it sound like she lives in your home town. The picture featured in the ad for Web Profit Club was lifted off the internet and has been used for several other ads.
World3News is also a fake news site and advertises the Web Profit Club with an imaginary "mom" known as Kim Barnes.
Next, Richardson and Barnes claim they make $5000 and more a month posting links. Nobody pays anyone for simply "posting links". That is a scam claim which has been around forever; don't fall for it. Also, Richardson and Barnes claim that buyers will make $500 to 1500.00 after they post their first link. This is a bold face lie.
The rest of the article/ad claims that the Web Profit Club only costs $1.98 for shipping and handling. Be careful there because there is a big fat hidden fee tucked away deep in the terms and conditions for sale.
Also, the ad claims that Web Profit Club is "BBB A+ rated". This implies that the Better Business Bureau has given Web Profit Club an A+ rating. I checked the BBB's website and found nothing which validates this claim.
Clicking the Web Profit Club link, visitors are take to a slick sign up site with lots of pretty pictures and claims of "make money online", "work from home" and "paying off debts and bills" and so forth. Visitors to the Web Profit Club are encouraged to sign up to see if they qualify for "membership". Guess what? Everyone is accepted (with a working credit card of course!).
But before we pay, let's check those hidden terms for the secret fees.
First comes the trial period and charges:
By acting today, I will get my first 7 days for just $1.97.
Then comes the big whopper charge a few days later!
By submitting an order, You agree to Web Profit Club, and bill me $69.99 every 30 days until I cancel.
The newer ad on World3News actually has a higher price!
By submitting an order, You agree to Web Profit Club, and bill me $79.99 every 30 days until I cancel
And that is every month until you cancel.
But how can you cancel the Web Profit Club?
I may cancel any time by calling is 877-669-2971, or by emailing support@webprofitclub.com
Keep that number handy if you sign up.
There are no guarantees or information how buyers will make money online with the Web Profit Club and the claims that buyers will make $500 to 1500.00 after posting their first link online is simply not true.
Be careful if considering the Web Profit Club.

Aww Man! I fell for this crap too! I bought it 3 days ago but haven't tried it yet. I did get a random phone call from one of their affiliate companies. He told me he was an agent that weeded out people who were serious about making money online with their company. I was under the impression that it was the Web Profit Club until he told me they had gotten my information from the Web Profit Club. He asked me a few personal questions including if I had any debt or not. When I started to get uncomfortable with his questioning I piped up and asked "is this training free"...well of course NOT. "You have to spend money to make money" was his response. And I told him, "I'm not interested, thanks anyway". I guess I was weeded out! Thanks so much for blogging about this. I was headed to their site to get my training when I stumbled onto your. Whew! Hopefully, I'm just out of $1.97!
Whew!! Was just about to see if I had a credit card with $1.97 and looked the company up just to check. I seen the 69.95 fee and was hesitant, but you helped stamp it for me! Thanks!
Your support line sucks. It says I'm the 7th caller - get down to 2nd caller and then it goes back up to 8th caller. So far I've been holding for over 30 minutes
I am currently experiencing the same support line mess. I call and it says I am caller #6 gets the whole way up to telling me I'm NEXT and then plays some more music and tells me the estimated hold time is 2 minutes then next it tell me I'm caller #5 again...etc, I have now been on hold at various # locations w/an estimated wait time of 2 minutes for over 30 minutes!
Danielle..did you ever get through to anyone? I'm having the same problem currently.
I paid initial upfront $1.97,then turned around and canceled it the same day,9 days later, they charged my card an additional $74.99.I have called repeatedly, and get same response as others, you never get thru to them. What a Scam,I am still trying to get my money back. Will find a way to report them.
I have been on the phone for 20 minutes waiting to get through.. Stupid me knows better to look this stuff up before I sign onto it (which I never do!) They keep you on hold for 10 minutes, telling you that you are going to be next, then bump you back to #17.. then start playing some loud and obnoxious music (wanting you to hang up!) keep it up people!!! dont hang up!
SAME THING! i reported the site to the FBI...
they took the money out of my account before the 7 days...they havent responded to ANY of my emails and the phone line is obviously fake.
Thanks. I saw the link on another site. Read it and automatically thought it did not sound right. I went and googled and found you. Sure enough, what I thought SCAM.
Glad all the way from Africa i wondered how comes things were way too easy for you peeps there!! Glad to know its a scam and not reality. That must be heaven then....
True it was strange that the nami in the report was nothing like a Romanian (Note it said she's brom Bucharest - my hometown) so yea that was basicly the first clue, what intrigues me is that I "found out" about it on facebook, admins should really take care of it
I to managed to cancel my membership via email. I received confirmation that my membership was cancelled, but several days later my credit card was charged $79.95. When I sent email to complain and request refund I received email advising about their terms and conditons, which I met. I have sent seveal emails since then and no response. I am going to bank to report my credit card as lost/stolen so they can not take anymore.
I too was a sucker. I signed up ... paid my initial small fee to look around ... 4 days later they have taken 79.99 out of my bank and I have been fighting it ... I was on hold for almost 2 hours ... I am not hanging up ... this is CRAZY. ugh ... I need to work from home but it seams impossible.
I was almost one of the suckers. I saw the $79.99 every 30 days and decided to check out the company. Thank you for this site.
Scammers like these should be taken out of the internet: maybe by a massive lawsuit.
I was almost a sucker. I saw the "$79.99 every 30 days" and held off to do a little research. Good thing I did.
We should all file a fraud lawsuit against this type of scammers.
I first called the number to see if this was valid and the line said this number is not excepting calls right now- Thank You for this blog, I did get my hopes up for a min, but glad I didn't go for it. Thanks again
hey Thanks so much... i just read about this, and saw the comments on a website on how it was working, thought why not make a few extra bucks.. but by God's grace the link wasn opening, so i googled it, and found ur blog, thank u so much.. it made me realize to be satisfied wit what i have rather than to loose what i have.. God bless U ...
I just today went through the complaint problem. On wee hours of June 1, I finally decided to check all this out, cuz I wasn't sure. I never EVER saw another website except the blogsite I was on. I went through several scam alert sites, never saw anything concrete. Unfortunately, I didn't do a quick BBB check.
I got popped for $79.99 3 days before I should have been, I had started calling these people early Saturday morning. To the tune of this line is too busy. By today (this morning EARLY) I was getting too busy, then the eternal loop. Started at 52 minutes, went to 48, 37, 54, 38, 45, 34, 40. Did I mention I started at 7 a.m.?
In between calling my bank to get my account protected, I sent off two emails to these "wipes". I finally get through at 2:35 this afternoon. And get insulted, told I was stupid, I would receive no credit, and I did get a bit irate. I am calling the Atty. General, and am making sure the banks where I live are aware of these scammers.
I finally actually found the "real" supposed site for these punks. I never saw it when signing up. I have received NO "kit", no mail, no email, and no product. They don't care. They got one payment of $79.99 they'll try their darndest to keep. Thank heavens I have a good bank and they won't let me default on my account. ;) Not everyone is so lucky.
Did I say....SCAM. Yes, I did. All the way down the line, these folks scam, lie, show bogus testimonials, hound you for even more cash, hide their thieving ways and make you pay for it.
Beware!
BTW This is the first time I've ever done this. Well, folks stop watching the TV testimonials from "news" stations, too. They're just as bogus.
SCAM SCAM SCAM all the way thru.
I see all you saying it was a scam, you signed up and then tried to cancel, but what kind of content was on the site after you signed up?
Not that I would try it, but there are a lot of people that will...
So what are they saying you can try to to on the web? (besides give them your credit card number?)
Just got two of these emails and forwarded both the the appropriate federal departments on email fraud.
I knew this was a scam after I read through it. There's nothing in the Ad that really tells you how you make money. Posting links on the internet? How exactly does that work? Who is sending these checks? lol!! Lots of fake testimonies to sucker you in. I didn't even go to the link. I would love to do a work at home type job, but at least 95% of them on the internet are bogus. Never use your CC on sites like these. The reason why you're not getting through to a person is because it's probably being run by 3-4 guys and that's it. They will probably answer the phones only a few times. They will probably tell you that they will refund your money, but they won't, because the whole thing is a SCAM. Don't waste your time on the phone. Call your bank or cc company and have them reverse the charge. Tell them you never received your product and the business is a scam. Most CC will reverse the charge, especially if you had never done this before. Some CC like AMEX will actually investigate the fraud, and then report them to the BBB and FBI Authorities. You can fight back. Don't let those bastards get away with your money.
Well I got an email to sign up, but then I get tons of them during the week. 99.9% of the time I check for reviews, and there is no such thing as making money on line, they are all scammers. It's unfortunate that lot of people are so dishonest and take advantage of people like us.
i got an invitation to this too, when i clicked on the link it led me to this article about Kim Barnes supposedly making $5,000 a month - good thing they posted the check, that alone was already a giveaway...
Never believe one of these things...if it sounds to good to be true..IT IS! Its interesting how there is a link to earn $200+ for typin at the end of this page....Another scam?!
Anonymous - that link is for Legitimate Online Jobs. There are three ads for LOJ on this website.
LOJ is a real product which thousands of copies have been sold and which has a very low return rate from buyers.
LOJ is sold by Clickbank, the leader in online e-sales and features an iron clad no questions asked money back guarantee. Check out the link and read the return policy.
I would only recommend this product on my site if it met my thorough qualifications.
Thank you for your comment and for reading!
I can't believe the people that continually fall for this stuff, if it sounds too good to be true it is... duh????
maybe they should teach people in school how to avoid scams. These things cry out scam, but man everyone falls for it, almost everytime. They count on the countless naiive people in the world.
