Need Money Scam: Search and Social Profit System

If you are looking for information about Search and Social Goldmine, click here.

The Search and Social Profit System is a new "make money online scam" heavily advertised online. Be careful, as the real charges are hidden from buyers until they hand over their credit card information.

The Search and Social Profit System is being advertised in one location as Internet Home Income along with Blackbelt Profit System. However, visitors are quickly taken to the Search and Social sign up site.

Search and Social Profit System claims buyers will learn to make money using social media such as Facebook and Twitter. Further, Search and Social claims it will give buyers free coupons for Google Adwords, Yahoo Marketing and Microsoft AdCenter. Also, buyers will get free trials of AWeber, CityMax and Yola.

The idea is to show buyers of Search and Social how to make money selling affiliate marketing products using Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn and also how to buy ads on AdWords for instance, to sell more stuff online.

The problems with Search and Social are many -

- It is hard to do affiliate marketing buying advertisements on AdWords and Yahoo Advertising Solutions. Even with coupons, buyers will have to spend more money on ads without a guarantee they will be successful.

- Using Facebook or LinkedIn accounts to sell products can get an account closed and the member banned. Facebook does allow members to buy ads, but it can be costly.

- Aweber, Citymax and Yola all have monthly subscription charges after the trial is over. The buyer will be automatically signed up for those subscriptions.

- The Terms and Conditions for Search and Social Profit System, how much it actually costs, is hidden from potential buyers until they submit their credit card. Technically, this may be against FTC rules.

I would not buy the Search and Social Profit System unless I knew the full cost, including negative option monthly costs and other product subscriptions up front. The fact that Search and Social hides this information from buyers suggests something is not entirely kosher with this product. Buyer beware!

Hi John,

Just a small correction - at CityMax.com our 10-day free trial does not require credit card details. The only things required to sign up for a trial are 1) a name and 2) an email address.

Before the free 10-day trial concludes, the user has the option of manually signing up for our $19.98/month easy website builder. If not, the account simply goes dormant with none of the "automatic charges" you speak of.

We are also not affiliated with the "Search and Social Profit System" in any way.

If you have any questions or would like to try out a free 10-day trial for yourself, please don't hesitate to contact me at 1.866.310.9327 ext.169.

Thanks!

Patrick,
Thank you for your clarification and comment.
The sales and sign up pages for Search and Social Profit do not show any costs to the customer unless the customer submits a credit card for payment online. Further, the Terms of Service are not on their websites either so how services are charged is not revealed to potential buyers.

You may want to take a look at the sign up page for Search and Social Profit. CityMax's logo is displayed on the site and a trial membership is included with purchase.

Thanks again,
