June Update! Make money online alert!
Be on the lookout for "Home Income Black" - same product, new name!
You probably have seen the many ads for the Home Income Profit System Scam, another "make money online" scam. It has replaced Black Belt Profit System as the new "make money online system" advertised on the internet. Be aware of the fine print before you order the product.
(Updated! Some sites are promoting this as "The Online Business" or "The Home Income Kit" or the "Complete Home Profit System". Don't be fooled, its the same product).
Blackbelt Profit System has been renamed the Home Income Profit System on some websites, The sign up form is the same layout and makes the same promise - that anyone can make money online with this system.
Again, this is another fake news site, News6Alerts or News 7 Daily, which tells visitors about fictional mom, Marie Thompson or Kelly Richards (either of whom, through a software trick, appears to live in your home town!), facing financial ruin until she stumbled upon Home Income Profit System. Now Thompson makes $5000.00 to 7000.00 a month online.
It's all a lie and a scam. There is no Marie Thompson or Kelly Richards, and neither lives near you and they are not making any money online. Read on for all the hidden fine print and outrageous costs for the Home Income Profit System.
Clicking on any of the Home Income Profit System links, visitors are taken to a sign up page for buying the kit online. Visitors as asked for their name and phone number, but in the next screen, they are required to enter a credit card number to pay for the trial only.
The ad claims that the Home Income Profit System is only $5.00, but that is hardly the whole amount.
Here are the details they leave out that buyers need to be aware of.
The Home Income Profit System starts off as a three day trial.. The trial begins when the buyer orders, not when they get the system or try it:
When you submit your order, you agree to pay the shipping and handling fee of $2.97 for your Road Map to Success; please allow up to two weeks for delivery.
Update! The Terms have changed and ANOTHER fee has been slipped into the real charges!
When you submit your order, you agree to pay the shipping and handling fee of $2.97 for your Road Map to Success and a $39.95 activation fee unless waived; please allow up to two weeks for delivery.
(Notice the "two week delivery time" when the trial is only three days and then the BIG CHARGE hits!).
Then the big charge kicks in automatically:
After your 3-day trial period, you will be charged a ONE TIME activation fee of $139.95 that will not be billed again for access to all of the features above.
Then another monthly fee happens each month:
Thereafter, a $4.95 fee will serve as a monthly website hosting and maintenance fee until cancelled.
To cancel, you must contact the customer service number:
If you find that the product is not right for you, simply call our Customer Service Center at 877-863-3088
What do buyers get with their purchase of Home Income Profit System?
Access to a bunch of products and website templates to sell things online. The buyer has to get the traffic to the websites and generally that mean spending more money on ads. There are no guarantees buyers will make anything, but they will be forced to spend more money to find that out.
But wait - there is yet another seller of Home Income Profit System (Direct Commerce Academy) who is selling the product for the following price -
Five day trial - $2.97
Full price - $139.95
Monthly price - $39.99 for three months
Total from Direct Commerce Academy? - Over $160.00! Watch out for this one!
Be aware of the fine print of the Home Income Profit System and the hidden monthly charges.
Don't forget to try Cashcrate!

Thanks John! U sure opened my eyes, or I would have been sucked into this scam like everyone else. I will let people know about this. I just hope that they do some research before buying into it.
Thanks for the heads up on yet another online scam. I am so sick of these people scamming people out of their money. Most people dont understand that the key to making money online is getting traffic to their site and this is not always easy. These people make it sound as if these people are posting a couple links and instantly making 5K a month. Its sick.
Thanks for the heads up. I was just looking at that site & somethiing told me this is to good to be true. Just like you said they list a fictious name from my home town. So I decided to look that person up in our area. No One by that name. After I read the article I'm so glad I did not give them my credit card or any other info.
Thanks
Michelle
thanks for the detail info on this. almost fell for it but did my due diligence and homework as "if it is too good to be true, it probably is"
Susan
I was scammed by this company. I agreed to pay $2.97 for the kit...but did not know about the $139.95 until it was taken out of my bank account. I am warning others to stay away from this money making scam.
Thanks so much for posting this information!! I almost fell for this, but something was not adding up and it sounded too good to be true. I did my research and unfortunately, it really was a scam. Glad I was NOT a sucker to this scam.
I'm so glad I did a search about this and found your site. Thanks so much for saving me money and a lot of stress.
I was scammed! I called and they cancelled it right away... or so they say. I haven't seen the charge lift from my account just yet. They said that most people know about the $140+$5... I should have asked her how much her salary is... It would only make sense if she was making $50,000 - $70,000 as a telephone operator at a company that sells those wages to people for "10 hours of work a week."
Man, I can't thank you enough! I just issued a new bank card from one of these scams that I couldn't get to stop billing me. Something just told me do a search and there you were! THANK YOU!
Just wanted to let the blogger know that there is now a $39.95 Activation fee unless it is waived. The Terms and Conditions have been updated.
Just wanted to let the blogger know that there is now a $39.95 Activation fee unless it is waived. The Terms and Conditions have been updated.
I checked the terms and conditions and it is still $139.95 as of yesterday.
Thanks SO MUCH for posting this!
Wow! thanks so much. my mother was actually very interested in this Home Income Profit System thing. But i can so tell that the ad is fake, and somethings fishy about it. It does not even look like a real report, the writer jumps in and out of first person. But thank you so much, I enjoyed hearing the truth!
Yes, It'd luckly that I do all my reasarch and check up on this other peoples comments don't lie. Have very carefull on stuff like this, But thanks every1 for posting before I spent my hard earnt money.
Thanks for the info...I guess I am learning not to be so naive. Finally, I've dodged a scam bullet!
I've just lost my job and I was struggling to death for job hunting. But when I was searching for open jobs through the internet, I've found the Home Income Profit System. I knew that was 100% fake because when that said "as it was seen in Fox News", there were no article about it until I checked its site. Even the interview vid that was posted on some site seemed too cheap and fake. Thanks for the info, you saved my life.
It was the picture of the woman and child in my so called town that tipped me off. She did not fit into my hood if you know what i mean! lol
thanks for being here!
I am a teen and i just got my very first paycheck and i was really interested in this offer but i decided to first do my homework about this and thank god i did. I was just about to pay the 2.whatever it was. its litteraly on my other tab as i am writing this. thank you so much for opening my eyes.
Thanks for posting this. I'm struggling to find steady work to support me and my daughter, and when I found your blog, it confirmed what my gut was telling me. There is no easy way to make money from home, and the people who create scams like this one are a special brand of evil for preying on folks who are desperately grasping for anything legal that they can do to put food on the table and keep a roof over their heads.
Yeah - you know it has to be bad if all the comments are good- and "comments are closed at this time" Thanks =o)
Thnaks for rooting the evil out for us. I was suspicious of the web page, it looked so fakey, and the lack of info they offered tipped me off too, but i was stll considering it. what the ehck, i got bills to pay, an extra few hundred bucks a month would be great!! they are looking for people just like me i suppose. also, i was interested in the acai berry scam, and the page for this looked almost identical to the one of the acai berry scam. coincidence, i think not. also all the comments on the page are from thomas, amry, mike, thomas again. ya, no. its sick that people would scam hard working people, but i suppose they are just doing their job!!!! thanks again!
If it sounds too good to be true it probably is. It smelled from the start. Thanks for the info on my Google search. "Scam" was listed prominently as an option.
"Hold up dont do it"
I didnt read the fine line and went ahead and gave them my card number first and then it said card declined, i said i have money so i did it again it said card decline again. I tried to call and they said they dont open till pacific time so it 8:37am and its 5:37am their time. so i pulled up my bank information and they took the 2.97 out so then i called the bank and within in less than 10min their trying to take 140.00 out my account the banker immediately closed that account and stop them from taking the money out but that 2.97 and the .99 is gone they got that. Dont do it its a big scam.
EVERYBODY THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT CARD OR CHECK BOOK THEY WILL SCAM YOU AND YOU WILL LOSE OVER $150.00 Dollars,SCAM,SCAM,SCAM,SCAM,SCAM.
Does anyone know about any legit companies like this? Do they exist, or are they all scams?
Hi, I tried this Scam out on Friday i gave my card # and it said declined and the Ad said they would only be charging me the $2.97 So i looked up my bank account not only did they already take out the $2.97 they also tried to take out $139.95 but thank god I gave a prepaid card so i knew that extra money was not on my card! I even called and talked with the company and he said it was a glinch in their system and I should try to run my card again on Tuesday, But thank God I found this site to let me know they are scammers! Its bad when these scammers got to steal from the inncocent and knowing we won't make a penny from it! So BE AWARE!!!
Holy Cow! Thank the Good Lord I checked this out! Why do people have to be so dishonest when it comes to money??? Especially in these bad economic times, there are so many of us that are in financial trouble that will see this and think- wow- EASY MONEY..... I live in Rensselaer Indiana where they are stating "Kelly Richards from Rensselaer, IN is making thousands"--- well, there is NO Kelly Richards in Rensselaer!!! HMMM... IMAGINE THAT!!! IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE THEN IT PROBABLY IS!!! Thanks for this blog.
I'm sick when i founded this scam. Don't be fooled. Read everything when you are insert your credit card.
These day is more dificult to stay aware of this scamers. Thanks for your post about this scamers!
Like someone else said.. check out the comments, they are all wow golly gee this is great , all the commenters all have a general first name user name and seeing how comments are closed at this time, preventing people like us from asking a real question is a huge tip off..
thank you, i had my credit card ready and i said, you know waht let me find out more about this site, thank you so much
I fell for there line of bull. Willing to lose $2.97 to try something that may or may not work out for me.
Today I look at my statement and see the $2.97 charge along with a charge for $139.99 two days later.
Keep in mind the website you are generating this with is unstable and shaky. Most of the time I would have to highlight the entire page to see where the click tabs were located. It is extremely possible that their policy of the additional $139.95 wasn't displayed in a way in which I could even read it, because I would not have continued on had that been visable.
The credit card company did a 3-way call to (Josh) who explained there was no way they would refund the money or any part of the money, and that I was fully aware of the additional charges. The credit card company would not win in a dispute.
They might win if it could be proven that the text and/or tabs needed to be highlighted just to read where to click to go to the next page.
They were rude and I left a piece of my mind by telling them NOW I fully understand how they are bilking money from innocent people.
I'd love to see each and everyone of them burning in ash and cinders while their innocent children watch in disbelief.
I live on social security with a young son and cannot make ends meet. Then I meet Satan, himself...telling me how easy it would be to earn "the sky is the limit". I'm not a stupid person, just a tad bit desperate in Michigan's failing economy to help keep a roof over our heads.
BUYER BEWARE is all I can say.
Kelly Richards gets around she lives in Deptford NJ now.
You just saved me money!. I always type company name into the search engine to see what comes up when it sounds fishy, and this one come up as a scam. If you follow the above step you won't loose any money.
lol kelly richards lives in saginaw MI
Thanks for the tip, as i almost bought this scam, but then i thought i better google this first, which led me here.
I just fell for this scam and I feel absolutely sick to my stomach. They're supposed to give me rebate of $55 which will have made my total cost $4.95. When I printed out the rebate form it said it expired on April 30, 2010. Today is May 14, 2010. How convenient. Wish me luck! Anyone fight this and win? I feel SO stupid!
lol Kelly Richards is a busy girl. She now lives in Orlando Fl. Thank you God for websites that reveal scams.
I am so happy I checked this out here first before making such a BIG mistake. Kelly Richards is a busy girl, she is in Colorado too! She gets around quickly LOL
Wooowwww. I almost paid this. For some reason i really thought this would be legitimate. HA! Boy was i wrong. Kelly Richards lives in Fort Worth Tx too!! Haha she sure travels alot for a "stay at home mom". I would really like to visit the address in the terms & conditions and give them a piece of my mind. How do people jew people that are already in the hole? One day.. they will get theirs. Till then, DO NOT SUBMIT ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!
lol...Kelly Richards now lives in Toledo, Ohio. I almost fell into this. Thank you so much!
Yes indeed, Kelly Richards surely does get around. Only one thing, we actually have A Kelly Richards that lives in the VERY small town that I live in. My youngest son played football with her son and they both graduated in 1993!
Non only was the picture of a young girl.....she was white and our Kelly Richards is not. That was a dead give away for me.
Kelly Richards now lives at Berkeley, CA
Can't thank you enough. I too was just about there with my credit card and something told me to check this out more. Found this site...God bless you.
Wish I'd looked up this web-site earlier! This is SUCH a HUGE scam!! Not only that, you get a call from a very high-pressure, slimy used-car sounding guy that then wants to know all about your finances, how much you make, etc. That was when all my hinky bells started going off big time. I told them I wasn't interested and that the "program" wasn't for me. THEN I found that additional $139.95 charge on my credit card! I NEVER authorized that - and wouldn't have either, if they'd been up front. I've made a complaint with the Attorney General's office in Utah and am also calling Gephardt so that he can possibly shed some light on these scammers here in Utah! What a bunch of crooked thieves! I am so angry right now at them and for being duped! OOOOOOOHHHHHH!!!!
~MMK
I almost fell for this as well. Something just said check it out and I am glad I did. I wish these types of companies could be prosecuted!
Wow what a great page. I never do anything without reasearching it first.
thanks for the tip! I was thinking about going forth but in my gut i knew something was not right. I immediately checked the terms and conditions and sure enough it was going to charge me the 79.99 a month. I went to your site and it confirmed my research. One think that did alert me was the comments. it seemed to be by all the same people and one of the comments at the top of the page was the exact same one as the bottom of the page. It would be highly unlikely that two different people would leave the EXACT same comment down to the period! Thanks again and I will have to keep my guard up for these scams. ^_^
Thank you, thank you............I was stoped in my credit card information, and I think,is this real or not........my son is 12 and he said:Mom are u crazy?,don't do that, that is a scam!!...........12 years!.........you are opened my eyes!
I KNEW this was a scam when it arrived in my email in-box, but I figured "what the heck...I'll check it out." I got to the site, took one look at it and immediately googled the name, and here I am. SURPRISE!...not. Sigh...what worries me most is that so many people are falling for this, due mostly to the tough economic situation we all face. I know if times weren't tough for me I would have never ended up this far. I hope most people out there continue to use common sense and I wish there was something that could be done about these scam artists. Good luck everyone, and here's hoping things improve everywhere soon.
Thanks! I saw the $140 charge & 3 day trial mentioned in the terms & conditions (seriously people ALWAYS look at those, it can save you a lot of grief) and since I don't have that, I'd pretty much already decided against it, but was still thinkinhg of maybe doing the trial & canceling. Good to know they don't even bother pretending to wait tosteal your money. I would think you could probably get your money back if you canceled during the 3 days since they're violating the terms you agreed to
Thank you so much for the information!!!! i was seriously thinking about trying, but i thought i'd google it real quick and find out a little. yours was the first one i click on. i am so thankful that you posted this information. thank you, again!!!!
The big question is, where is Ryan Jackson's base of operations, and how can he be shut down?
Thank you for this info. I was just on that page and almost gave my vredit card number. Then decided to read more about it and found this page. Thank You.
I knew this was a scam! I have been scammed too maney times not to see what they were doing. They make money off of you! I can honestly say that I haven't found one single place that wasn't a scam. I desided to do some research, glad I did! But whats so funny is that Kelly Richards also lives in Mayo, Florida, Boy she must have alot of personalities! She's everywhere! Thanks so confurming this scam!
OMG thank God for this website. I totally almost fell for this crap! Its so true that if something looks too good it's often too good to be true.....totally sorry dishonest bastards out there...
We all also probably need to be a little less desperate to make money...the economy is affecting all of us and sometimes we are willing to try almost anything...
Thank God I noticed that anywhere I clicked on the page it took me to the same website instead of taking me to a page that told me more about the person who was actually making money. I almost put my debit card info in there!
NO GOOD BASTARDS....
Man,I'm glad I did this research b4 I submitted- Their credit card window kept popping up so I finally
read their fine print and saw these fees and charges at the very bottom-==-= Thanks to your blog I've deleted my info.... I hope!
George
well. being desperate and broke i put in my card info and now i am even more desperate and broke than before NEVER AGAIN will i fall for another one of these f ing things.
DO NOT FALL INTO THIS TRAP
Yeah I just got scammed by these thieves. I spent a whole hour on the phone with representatives that can barely speak English, rude, not willing to compromise, not willing to assist me with a full refund (25% is all they offered), the highest tier they supposedly had (her name is Michael) (if that is her real name), would not give me a number or transfer me to who is above her, she was a real smart ass and acted like she didn't give a damn telling me "I am the last person you can talk to", this site also claimed to ship material within 2 weeks(which I never received), and I can vouch for all the other comments about this being a scam. Some of the pricing is different but everything else is spot on. SO DO NOT FALL INTO THIS TRAP
Wow! Kelly Richards is also living in Louisiana! I googled her name in my area & no such person exists! What JERKS!!! It's really hard to believe that the law allows buttheaded jerks like this to exist! I'm a single mother & recently lost my job & cannot find one to save my life so when I saw this I thought, 'really? It's got to be a scam!' & sure enough. I read the fine print & thought, I wonder how many poor souls these jerks are taking advantage of?! Sad, sad times we are living in really. BUYER BEWARE when you come across things like this. It is close to impossible to earn that kind of $$ unless you are highly educated & skilled. I'm a nurse & was barely making $60k/year so, be very aware!!
Oh by the way, I copied this from the Home Income Profit System page, down at the very bottom & in VERY TINY print!

BUTTHEADED JERKS!!!
OMG I cant believe I almost fell for it. THank you so much...good looking out for the public. its bad enough i dont have money and to still have others take advantage of me in my worst times. thats just degrading.
Now it is a A Theresa E. Catton sending the email about how she makes hundreds of dollars from home. She even includes a picture of herself with her husband on their long overdue honeymoon in Spain. Glad your warning is here.
Next time any of you see anything such as these "Make Money" articles pay attention to the comment section. How natural do the comments sound if you read them and do they sound to directed? Do any of them repeat but have different names? Do they continuously point out what the article is selling "and within days I received the free start up kit"? Are all of the comments written as if they were written by an English professor with all the correct spelling and punctuation (especially to show excitement)? Lastly and MOST IMPORTANTLY, can you leave a comment or is the comment section "Temporarily out of service". Please look passed the BS that is clearly being presented to you and always do your research.
sadly i was duped but thankfully i used a pre-paid card with just enough money on it to cover the 3 bucks,so i know i wont lose any more money.oh,i did get a phone call the next day but it got cut-off mid conversation.the same number called several more times the next couple of days but i just saw their number on the caller i.d and turned the ringer off.they have since stopped.
I always thought that earning $200 a day is to good to be true...thanks for the confirmation. We need people like you to point us to the right choices and decisions especially in these times when eking a living is pretty difficult.
Again, thanks.
i knew this was a scam when i saw
the newspaper that had the phoney
title in Chicago. I am familiar with most publications in Chicago
and this was not one of them. Keep up the good work.
Dang. Kelly Richards must be making a ton of money to have homes in all of these different cities, because she also lives in Atlanta, GA!!! Thanks for the heads-up.
Now Kelly lives in nowhere because i was sorta suspicious so i din't type my address but then it said that Kelly lived there! =D LOLz
I was pressured to buy the training package and although I said no several time the snake oil salesperson put it on my credit card. They tell me they will not refund my money even though I have not started my training and that they will get their legal department involved if I do not pay. So here I am scammed out of a large sum or money. My credit card company says I must try to resolve the dispute with them first.
This sounded "way too good to be true". I started entering my info on the first page, but God was watching over me & like my dear grandma(who raised me) said "you never get nothing for nothing". It's just very sad that someone would try and capitalize on "someone's desperate situation". Thank you for taking the time to care!
I kinda figured that it was to good to be true, if you read some of the comments there will be a few that are exactly the same yet they are from different people. And the comment section is always closed.
nice to see someone doing legwork for another make-money scam...
funny how "megan anthony" lives right here in Massillon, making all this money, but when i used a proxy browser there's another unemployed mom named "megan anthony" who worked a grocery story job for 8.55 an hour and has the exact same news story (which now i notice doesn't point out the town name anywhere) in STATEN ISLAND NY
and they're trying to use children to hype it up... really...people oughtta be ashamed of themselves...
She now lives in LA!
This, and everything like it, are scams. Only honest work earns money. Sacrifice now for an education, make yourself capable of adding value, and reap the rewards. Don't stop learning and improving or you'll be left behind.
Thank you so much...i mistakenly stumbled here..thaanks a lot....i was thinking what is it i will be doing on the computer for 10-13hrs and no one said anything on that kelly "greed" richard web page. i almost went for the payment thing but i just held back a bit....thanks a lot, u are a lifesaver
Can't thank you Enuff for this post!! I was almost all in I'm glad I did the research ,I'm even more happy there are ppl like you ok there thanks so much!
Thank God!!!! I listen to that second thought and did a research on it...and there was your website, thanks a lot for put these low life people out there that are taking peoples money...
hehe. I just about fell for this too seeing that the woman with her child lived in my SMALL town. I thought "Wow. Really?"
I have a prepaid type of credit card so I would have only given them the trial amount. But still. I will spare myself the moeny
Thanks for this knowledge
It appears that they have now resorted to mass identity theft. I received an email from a friend that his email contact list has been hacked and is being used to send emails under his name which he has not sent. I checked my SENT folder to find out that I had been infected with the same problem. Emails were being sent from my account under my name to my contacts, highly recommending to buy services from "Automated Cash Income System". Subsquemtly, also found out that people on my contact list were also infected with the same identity theft and their emails were being used to reach their contacts with flattering recommendations to do business with "Automated Cash Income System". These emails have no subect except RE:.
The most important parts before be involved in home business is to keep learning. Even, on everything...
I can't thank you enough. I've been out of work for over 2 years and have no money for this kind of crap.
It's really interesting. I received the link while searching the local job listings. It doesn't seem right to me that a "scam" of this nature finds its way to me through an online local paper. That's scary. I even went as far as to get a prepaid credit card to try this "scam" out, before I read everyone's blogs here. Laughing, and shaking my head I say, "I am glad there are people in society today that exercise wisdom, and maintain the strength to help all of us remain wise as well". Thx evryone-for saving my finances..
Thanks so much for this information!! Just like everyone else I thought this was going to be a great thing to try out....now I know not to waste my time nor my money! Thanks so much
Do not get involved with these liars. I was told that my "free trial" would begin when I received their info in the mail but they charged me early. So far I've dealt with 3 different "3rd parties" while trying to recover my money. Just another unscrupulous scam perpetrated by people with no integrity
I'm so glad I checked this out before I whipped out my card!! Thanks so much for exposing this for what it is. Guess what? Kelley has now moved to Sylacauga,
Alabama. Bless her heart, she must
be exhausted from so many moves.
Thanks again
It gets even more onerous. Just found out today,4/18/11 that they have hacked into my wife's cousin's e-mail account and contact list and are sending out e-mails about how much money she is making with this system and urges her contacts to try it. We are in Florida and I am going to report this to the Fla Attorney General's office & try to bring these thieves down.
you can leave a comment, but it has to be approved first.lol how convenient. This is a scam and I am surprised the news channels that they are claiming back them haven't sued them yet.
Thanks for the heads up, i got one of those in my email today. thanks again
I read all of these, and no one answered the question, "is there a legitimate work at home program?" I really need to fid a job that will allow me to be home. I am a foster "mom" for 2 ladies that have down syndrome. They are home and we keep busy, but I seriously need to be doing something to help with the bills. Thanks to anyone that knows!
Michele
There is NO Kelly Richards in my town, which the website claimed she resides......
John: Thanks for waving the red flag. I've been online 14 years and have seen this garbage time and time again. I guess the internet will never run out of the sociopaths and poison. I am concerned that nothing has been done about these creeps and their illegal rip offs. Thanks again.
Thanks very very much for this info. I have been scammed once. I paid money out from my credit card, before I went to check their legitimacy online, only to discover they are scammers. Since then I have learnt to google them first! Thank you for your efforts and God Bless you!
'Helping thousands of people around the globe'
well, they sure did help by ripping innocent people off and making them realise, 'nothing can be easily earned'
P.S Okay, I really need to know how Kelly Richards gets to switch places instantly? Ah! atlast we've one superhuman amongst us maybe? =P
