Need Money Scam: Online Business System

The Online Business System is being advertised heavily on several websites. The ads say members earn "up to $37.00 an hour working from home". Read the fine print before you give them your credit card - there are high hidden fees.

The Online Business System uses the same method to sell their package - fake news sites, testimonials from presumably make believe customers, pictures of big dollar checks lifted from the Internet and wild claims of "thousands of dollars a month in income online".

The Online Business System gives very little information on "how" buyers make money online, only that they can do it from home and it requires a computer. The kit contains a two hour DVD (content unknown) and some informational materials.

Here is the catch:

The Online Business System costs $9.95 for shipping and handling. But if buyers do not return the kit to the seller within 14 days of ordering, then a higher fee kicks in. This fee is conviently hidden in the fine print on the sign up page.

It reads..

I understand that I will be charged $9.95 in Shipping & Handling to receive the kit.

But them..

I understand that I will be granted a 14-day grace period in which to review this material... If I do not return the kit to the seller within 14 days, I will be charged an additional $39.95 on my credit card to cover the full price of the materials.

And what about that $9.95 handling fee?

I will not receive a refund of the $9.95 for Shipping and Handling

The Online Business System kit is more expensive than the sales and ad pages say. Be aware of this before ordering.

This product was advertised on a fake news site called News9Courier.

Go to the site and see who sponsors it. There is no company name "clearly" listed.

The edited check shown on the ad is from Google AdSense. This program has nothing to do with AdSense.

This is the SAME advertising template used by scam products like Google Fortune, Google Gem, Google MoneyTree, etc.

Kelly Richards is the same character used in advertisements for other scam products like Google Fortune, etc.

The comments at the bottom of the News9Courier page are the same fake comments used in advertisements for scam products like Google Fortune, Google Gem, etc.

The linked pages go to a program advertised as Online Business System or the Home Based Business.

Neither the ad nor the sign up form mentions the additional cost of the program - $39.99. That is hidden in the Terms and Conditions.

No where on the sign up form does it "clearly" say who is sponsoring this ad.

Only by clicking the Terms and Conditions do we see in tiny print at the very end who is sponsoring this particular product - an independent HL distributor.

Conclusion - if this is a great product and a great company, stop using known scam product advertising templates and techniques.

Also, have some respect for potential buyers and clearly include the company name and total costs on the ad and sign up pages.

If the sponsor has a blog with correct contact information, disclaimers and costs of their program outlined and which explains their side of the story, I will be happy to provide a link to their site from this one.

I wish I had read about this before my husband told me to order it. He thought it was legit Because he heard it on the radio!
I heard they keep charging your credit card, well, I'll just call
my Bank if they do.

I ordered the kit. Got the called from the sponsor or upline or consultant however you called it to get qualify. Then got transfer to another representative to confirm.
Well, I hung up after that. Then I forgot it for awhile, when I remembered that I have to return the kit in order to get money refund. Unfortunately, I threw the front box away therefore, I don't have the address. I wrote email to my sponsor and she told to look for the box.
Personally, I think all they want is money and don't care to help if people needed help.
